The challenge

The satellite manufacturer needed dedicated tooling for each phase — assembly, testing and transport — respecting flight interfaces and facility constraints, without multiplying devices nobody maintains afterwards.

Scope

  • Integration process analysis to define the strictly necessary tooling
  • Support structures for assembly and testing
  • Lifting and tilting tooling, adapters and satellite interfaces
  • Transport devices inside and outside the facility
  • Satellite transport system up to the launch pad
  • Finite element structural verification
  • Complete fabrication documentation

How we worked

One equipment family, not forty loose parts. Devices were designed as a coordinated set over the full lifecycle, together with the client's specialists.

Design for manufacture. Materials and processes chosen so the workshop could build without reinterpreting drawings.

Result

Controlled integration, safe moves

A 40+ device set covering assembly, test and transport up to the launch pad, within the applicable aerospace standards. The project was delivered 10% ahead of the committed deadline.
