The challenge

Loading heavy tube bundles into containers exposed operators to manual handling, with slow sequences, placement variability and containers of varying height and condition.

Scope

  • Hydraulically actuated elevating platform with adjustable legs for different container heights
  • Self-propelled carriages with pneumatic lifting and motorised drive
  • Operator-focused control panel: controls, safety interlocks and end-of-stroke limit switches
  • Structural verification and fabrication documentation
  • Modular design adaptable to future requirements

How we worked

Three subsystems, one cycle. Platform, carriages and control were designed together around the real loading sequence, not as independent equipment.

Safety in the hardware, not just the procedure. Interlocks and limit switches integrated into the panel.

Result

Repeatable cycles, less exposure

Less manual handling exposure, faster and repeatable loading cycles, and better placement consistency and container utilisation.
